Regarding STD testing in polyamorous relationships
I've been polyamorous by nature for as long as I can remember. But I haven't been in anything other than a monogamous relationship as of yet. I'm curious what people's practices are with regards to safe sex and STD testing. When you date, what degree of "safe sex" do you have (condoms & no exchange of fluids, condoms and dental dams with kissing, condoms with kissing and direct oral, or no protection at all) & what is your policy with regards to testing (how often, and for what).

I don't think that wearing a condom makes sex less enjoyable (at least, not significantly) but, frankly, I love kissing and the way a woman tastes, and I need to balance that against wanting to be safe and to keep my primary partner safe.

I also have no idea of the most economical way to get it done on a regular basis.

I very much appreciate anything that you are willing to share with me (and the list, of course).
