Public Forum in Bedford on Polyamory -- please come!
This Sunday, January 29, there will be an open-to-the-public talk and discussion on polyamory, led by longtime activist and spokesperson Valerie White. It's in Bedford, Mass. (northwest of Boston) at 9:00 a.m. (yes, that's a.m.), as part of the weekly Bedford Lyceum series of talks on issues of culture, politics, the arts and sciences. (In fact, this is a 21st-century revival of the venerable 19th-century Bedford Lyceum.)
Any poly or poly-friendly folks who can show up will be MOST welcome! The location is First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church on Bedford Common. This is not part of the actual Sunday church program, but you're welcome to stay for the service at 10 if so inclined (Valerie will be doing so). The polyamory discussion may continue after the service if enough people want.
DIRECTIONS: Take Route 128 (I-95) and get off Exit 31B (Routes 225 and 4) west to Bedford. From the exit, go 2.3 miles west. Look on the left for the Town Common with the big white church, just past the traffic light at the corner of South Road.
Go in the side door. The event is in the Common Room in the back.
Hope to see you there!
